1976 Born in Bujumbura ( Burundi-Africa) Murvin Jay grew up in an eclectic musical environment Initially into Funk and Hip Hop, he discovered House Music in the Bocaccio Club, and by mixing with friends in the early 90'es. In 1993, he started playing in clubs, amongst them the legendary Club xxx of the Vaudevile in Brussels.Two radio shows will then boost his notoriety in the eyes of a growing public. In 1996 , seven years of passion and hard work will give Murvin Jay a much sought after residency at the Mirano Continental, one of the best clubs in Brussels. This will firmly establish his reputation as a DJ spinning very soulful, percussive sounds in Belgium's most famous clubs ( Fuse, La Démence- resident DJ during two years, Café d'Anvers, La Rocca, Who's Who's Land, H2O) to name but a few and many other one-off parties and events. (Belmondo,Pop Life@Atomium,City Parade 1st edition and many more) 1998 marks his debut in the "Freezzy Jam" production team. The issue of the collaboration will be two potential club hits: Le Dôme & Party Crasher (both licenced in the UK (EDEL) and Germany).

For two years, while continuously busy DJing (Monthly Resident DJ at Lounge Club, Kit Kat-Paris, Catacombes, Breakfast Club@Tavernier), he's been working on his own productions that are to see the light in 2002. Two of his productions will also feature on upcoming compilations ( B-Electronic Corporation and Decibel). He just finish a 12'inch project with Serge Sanz and a singer Phillip Morgan Lewis under the name of SanJay&PML Presents Chill out
